4th Annual Andrew Greenan Kid’s Fishing Tournament

Date:      Saturday July 6th
Time:     9 a.m. meet at boat launch
12 p.m. Awards Ceremony and Lunch at 6035 Mabley Hill Rd. (Directions will be given at start)
Cost:       Registration is Free
Rules:

• All participants must follow current State of Michigan Fishing Regulations (Bass must be 14”,Pike 24”).
• All participants must be 12 years old or under and accompanied by an adult.
• All boats must be at the finish location by 12 p.m.
• NO ADULT’s FISHING but they may assist children with casting, baiting lines, and landing fish.
• Only one line in the water at a time, multiple lines for one participant are not allowed.
• Each child is to keep fish in their own bucket (Please provide your own bucket).

Other Information:

• Prizes will be awarded for the largest legal fish (any species) and most fish caught.
• Trophy will be awarded for largest fish.
• Goody Bags will be handed out to each participant who pre-registers.
• Door prizes will also be available.

We need an accurate count so we can make sure every child receives a goody bag and enough lunch is provided. If you forget to pre-register, please join anyway we will try to have a few extras on hand.

Lunch will be provided for all participants and their adult supervision (Hot Dogs, Chips¸Pop¸etc.)
This tournament is in memory of Andrew Greenan who was a long time resident of Lake Tyrone. He was a wonderful neighbor who loved our Lake, entertaining children, and most of all fishing. I am sure he will be watching from above with a big smile on his face, seeing the children do what he enjoyed most.
