Join your neighbors and make a special evening even more memorable on Lake Tyrone and “LIGHT UP THE LAKE” on Christmas Eve!   This is a great opportunity for our Lake Tyrone community to come together in the joyous spirit of Christmas on the most revered evening of the year.

Using very simple and inexpensive paper lunch bags, sand or kitty litter and votive candles, we will be able to create a festive and brilliant display as we “LIGHT UP THE LAKE” beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

For specific instructions, please visit www.doityourself.com/stry/make-holiday-luminaries or just Google search “luminaries” or “paper bag lanterns”. They can easily be made in advance, and then set out to light at sunset on Christmas Eve.

Michael’s craft stores are a great resource for boxes of votive candles, especially if you use their 40% off coupon which is available every week on their website www.Michaels.com
