Thanks to Volunteers on Dam Maintenance project (pictures)

We wanted to thank the group(s) that helped with the dam maintenance project.  We completed cleaning all the trees and brush from the back side of the dam on Oct 14th and Oct 21st.  This hadn’t been done in over 7 years so some of the trees were over 4 inches in diameter.  We had to do this maintenance as required by our dam inspection late this summer.  Everyone was a big help.  Felt like we were cleaning a field for a community farm the way people just got to it.  I think everyone enjoyed what they were doing.  We hope to keep it more maintained so we don’t have such a big job in the future again.

We lost the list of volunteers from the second weekend so I am sorry I don’t list the names.  I remember many but I don’t want to list and forget on. Many where from the first weekend which was Matt Lipon and his 2 sons Alex and Brenden, Paul Lipon, Mike Osiecki, Maryann Swanson and her son Bob, Joe Agosta and his son Mike and grandson Chris and myself, Jeff Connors.  If you check out the pictures and you see one of your neighbors, give them a little thank you.  Here are links for photos for both weekends:

–          October 14th

–          October 21st

Thanks to all that helped.  I personally, enjoyed meeting a few new faces and joining in on improving our lake.
