Lake Tyrone has long been a fishing haven.\u00a0 The lake has an abundance of bass, blue gill, sun fish, crappie, that are easy to catch almost any day of the year.\u00a0 We also enjoy some larger fish like walleye and northern pike.\u00a0 We stock on a scheduled basis walleye, pike, and perch.\u00a0 We enjoy both ice fishing in the winter and both shore and fishing from our boats in the summer.<\/p>\n
We now have two fishing tournaments for kids.\u00a0 One in the summer around the 4th of July and one in the winter as part of our Winter Fest on the ice.\u00a0 They are both open to kids 12 and under.<\/p>\n
Adults also have winterfest ice fishing tournament.<\/p>\n
